Wynn Team Members Achieve Management Diplomas
at the University of Macau
Encouraging employees to continue learning and nurture talents in the industry

Macau, December 5, 2019 – Part of its longstanding commitment to nurturing local talents and promoting upward mobility, Wynn offers rounded, systematic training courses to team members. These efforts promote continuing education, thereby assisting them in their career planning and development. This year, Wynn encouraged and sponsored 44 team members to enroll in either the one-year 'Diploma in Casino Management' or 'Advanced Diploma in Gaming Management' courses, organized by the Institute for the Study of Commercial Gaming (ISCG) at the University of Macau (UM). This marked a record number of participants compared with previous years.

The ISCG at the UM held a graduation ceremony for all students who had completed the training courses. The ceremony was officiated by Prof. Jean Chen, Dean and Chair Professor in Accounting and Finance at UM, Prof. Fong Ka Chio, Director of the ISCG, and management representatives from gaming operators. Graduates who had completed the latest Diploma in Casino Management course or Advanced Diploma in Gaming Management course were awarded certificates. Among all of the graduates, six team members from Wynn were recognized as either 'Outstanding Graduates' or 'Distinction Graduates' based on their outstanding results. Students were energized by the acknowledgement of their efforts, and they felt that the courses were useful for them to be better-equipped for working in the industry by understanding the theory, learning about actual operations and accumulating further experience.

The ISCG at the UM launched the 'Diploma in Casino Management' and 'Advanced Diploma in Gaming Management' courses in 2007, offering training opportunities to gaming practitioners and those who are interested in the gaming industry to complement the professionalization of gaming industry management, as well as to enhance the competitiveness of human resources. A total of 189 team members from Wynn have participated in the two courses since then, continuing to produce more professional talents for the gaming industry in Macau.
