Wynn's Acclaimed Chef Tam's Seasons Becomes the First Restaurant in Macao to Rank on The World's 50 Best Restaurants Extended List
To kickoff The World's 50 Best Restaurants 2025 awards celebration in Italy, Wynn
collaborated with Lee Kum Kee to host an exclusive "Aperitivo Reimagined with Asian Flavors"
Macao, June 24, 2025 — Wynn signature restaurant, Chef Tam's Seasons at Wynn Palace, has officially become the first restaurant in Macao to rank on The World's 50 Best Restaurants extended list. Ahead of the awards event in Turin, Italy on June 19, The World's 50 Best Restaurants 2025 revealed its extended 51–100 list, and Chef Tam's Seasons ranks No. 72. Earlier this year in March, Chef Tam's Seasons became the only Macao restaurant to rank on the Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 2025 list for a second consecutive year. Chef Tam's Seasons moved up 40 places on the prestigious list to rank No. 9 and earned the "Highest Climber Award" sponsored by Lee Kum Kee.
To kickstart The World's 50 Best Restaurants 2025 awards celebrations, Cantonese Master Chef Tam Kwok Fung of Chef Tam's Seasons and Mark Lloyd, Head Mixologist of Wing Lei Bar at Wynn Palace collaborated with Lee Kum Kee to host an "Aperitivo Reimagined with Asian Flavors" event at Azotea, a Peruvian-Asian fusion restaurant and bar in Italy. On the evening of the awards event on June 19, Master Chef Tam and Executive Chef Alexander Robles of Azotea jointly created a series of elevated dishes served alongside culinary cocktails crafted by Head Mixologist Mark Lloyd and other top bar industry talents, including Antonio Lai, Executive Mixologist and Co-Owner of Tastings Group; Matteo Fornaro, Bar Manager & Co-founder of Azotea; and Samuel Kwok, Co-founder of The Opposites.
The diverse food and drinks menus at the "Aperitivo Reimagined with Asian Flavors" event not only showcased the essence of Master Chef Tam's seasonal Cantonese delicacies, but also shined a light on the creative genius of Mixologist Mark Lloyd as well as Lee Kum Kee's multi-faceted products which can be used in both the kitchen and behind the bar. Many industry insiders and media attended the lively aperitivo hour to mark the start of The World's 50 Best Restaurants awards celebrations.
