Wynn donates 1 million medical facemasks to Macau government

Macau, February 14, 2020 – With the COVID-19 outbreak having caused a shortage of medical supplies in many countries, Wynn today announced its donation of 1 million medical masks to the Macau government in support of the city's epidemic prevention and control efforts. As a company with deep roots in the local community, Wynn has been actively engaged with its global procurement network to urgently source protective supplies, including the successful purchase of the 1 million medical facemasks, which are suitable for hospital use.

These medical facemasks have now arrived in Macau and were presented by Linda Chen, Vice Chairman and Executive Director of Wynn Macau, Limited, to Ao Ieong Iu, Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture, who received them on behalf of the Macau SAR government. The facemasks will be passed on to the Health Bureau for use. Wynn hopes to make a contribution to the epidemic prevention work in Macau through this donation, which is expected to help reduce the risk of virus transmission, while also expressing its care and concern for all Macau residents.

The Wynn team has always cared about and connected with the local community, as well as people across the whole country. Wynn will continue to support the Macau SAR government's epidemic prevention and control measures and work with everyone in the community to help overcome this epidemic together.
