Eight of the world's top snooker players are set to compete in Macau at the end of December

Macau, December 06, 2023 — With the support of the Sports Bureau of the Macao SAR Government and jointly organized by StarMac Entertainment & Production Limited, Macao Billiards General Association and Sailing Up Sports, Wynn Resorts (Macau) S.A. will hold the "Wynn Presents – 2023 Macau Snooker Masters" at the Wynn Palace Grand Theater Ballroom from December 25 to 29.

Eight of the world's top snooker players including Ronnie O'Sullivan, a seven-time World Snooker Championship winner; Ding Jun Hui, the first Asian player to reach the World No. 1 snooker ranking; Judd Trump; Mark Williams; Kyren Wilson; Jack Lisowski; Si Jia Hui as well as Marco Fu from Hong Kong, China who has been recognized as a Global Chinese Outstanding Youth, will gather at Wynn Palace for a series of fierce battles to compete for the championship title and to win the champion's prize money of GBP150,000.

O'Sullivan, who just made history by clinching his eighth UK Championship title, said: "I wish to extend my heartfelt thanks to Wynn, the organizer of the Macau Snooker Masters, for the invitation. The whole experience of attending the Macau press conference in June was perfect. I look forward to returning to Macau once again during Christmas to meet snooker fans from around the world, and to play exciting matches with the world's top snooker players!"
