Macau, June 6, 2019 – In support of the city's first mega international arts and cultural event, 'Art Macao', Wynn Macau, Limited today officially launched an art exhibition entitled 'Wynn – Garden of Earthly Delights'. Taking place at both Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace, the free exhibition is open to the public today until October 6, 2019. Showcasing some of the world's most remarkable masterpieces, it offers both Macau residents and tourists an artistic journey through contemporary art, as well as contributing to an immersive cultural atmosphere where the entire city becomes an art gallery and an art garden.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition was held this afternoon at the Wynn Palace Art Gallery. Officiating guests included: Dr. Alexis Tam, the Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture of the Macao SAR Government; Mr. Yuan Hengge, Deputy Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China in the Macao SAR; Mr. Huang Huagai, Deputy Secretary General and Director-General of Department of Social Affairs, Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao SAR; Ms. Mu Xinxin, Director of Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao SAR Government; Ms. Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes, Director of the Macao Government Tourism Office; Ms. Linda Chen, Vice Chairman and Executive Director of Wynn Macau, Limited; and Mr. Ian Michael Coughlan, President of Wynn Macau, Limited. Witnessed by the attending guests, they together officially unveiled the 'Wynn – Garden of Earthly Delights' art exhibition.

To support the city's cultural development and strengthen the promotion of arts education in the community, Wynn also held an event this morning entitled "Artist Dialogue: 'Wynn – Garden of Earthly Delights'" as part of the company's Art Promotional Event Series. The event featured exhibition curator Mr. Chip Tom and international exhibition artists including Mr. Edoardo Tresoldi, Ms. Jennifer Steinkamp and Mr. Yosuke Hayano (MAD Architects) as guest speakers, who introduced the details of the exhibition and offered an insider's view of their respective artistic practices. The event attracted more than 200 teachers, students, young people, art enthusiasts and professionals from across different sectors, helping to promote international cultural exchange and enhance the public's understanding of and participation in art.

'Wynn – Garden of Earthly Delights' is one of the activities under the 'Art Macao: International Art Exhibition' series. The exhibition is inspired by the work of talented Dutch painter Hieronymus Bosch, who painted a stunning masterpiece called 'Garden of Earthly Delights' during the Renaissance. A range of modern and contemporary art treasures will be displayed, created by world-renowned artists including Edoardo Tresoldi, Herb Alpert, Jennifer Steinkamp, Refik Anadol, Robert Indiana, Sam Francis, MAD Architects and many more. The exhibition will take audiences into a fascinating world of innovation and creativity through various media forms such as paintings, installations and digital art pieces. In addition, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Macao Special Administrative Region's return to the motherland, Wynn has specially created the 'Love in Wynn: Outdoor Art Space' featuring the work of invited local artists including graffiti artist Mr. Lam Kahou and oil painter Ms. Leong Wansi. Under the themes of 'Human Paradise' and 'Leisure Garden', the artists have shared their personal feelings on the city's achievements over the 20 years since the return of the Macao Special Administrative Region to the motherland, as well as reflecting their expectations of Macau's future. Together they have created a 20-meter long, large-scale stereoscopic illusion art installation.

Another highlight of the art space is the giant three-dimensional Chinese character 'Love' created by local designers. Featuring an interactive creation element that promotes environmental protection, the art piece expresses Wynn's blessings to Macau on the 20th anniversary of its return to the motherland. The piece was inspired by Robert Indiana's art piece 'LOVE', who is also one of the artists featured in the 'Wynn – Garden of Earthly Delights' exhibition.

In order to provide audiences with a better experience at the exhibition, Wynn has recruited a team of 60 and formed a 'Wynn – Garden of Earthly Delights' docent team through cooperation with Macao Heritage Ambassadors Association. They have undertaken a series of professional docent training courses run by the Macao Heritage Ambassadors Association during the preparation for the exhibition. They will donate their leisure time to provide guided tours for groups of visitors from local organizations and schools.
