Macau, February 13, 2023 — Wynn will host "The Prestigious Perfection of Ningxia" wine event on February 24 and 25 at Wynn Palace, where two of the world's leading authorities on wine – Fongyee Walker MW and Li Demei – will conduct wine Masterclasses and participants will also be able to savor the best of Ningxia wines at a "Walkaround Tasting" session. Certified China Master Chef Yun Peng Yu will collaborate with Wing Lei Palace Executive Chef Tam Kwok Fung to host a Gala Dinner. By holding this wine event, Wynn raises a toast to Ningxia – one of China's most important wine regions – widely celebrated by leading wine professionals both in mainland China and abroad. Wynn also aims to provide a networking and exchange platform for the food and beverage industry, promote the rich culinary culture of China and build on Macau's role as a 'Creative City of Gastronomy'. 

Wine Masterclass with Fongyee Walker MW
Fongyee Walker MW, is the first Master of Wine to reside in mainland China and one of only a handful of Masters of Wine in the world.  As China's most qualified wine educator and one of China's most recognized Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Certified Educator, she provides wine courses for many wine organizations and associations in China and around the world. She is also an experienced wine judge, who has judged at numerous international wine competitions. During her time in Macau at Wynn Palace, Fongyee Walker MW will explore the emerging diversity of wines in Ningxia.

Wine Masterclass with Li Demei
As a National Wine Consultant and Senior Winemaker, Li Demei is widely respected as China's leading authority on wine. He serves as consultant for many wine-producing regions and wineries all across the globe and has garnered many awards throughout his career as an influential winemaker. The world's leading drinks trade publication – the drinks business – ranked Li Demei among the Top 10 most influential wine consultants in the world, and wines produced under his guidance have won more than 500 international awards. During his masterclass at Wynn, he will talk about the diversity of wines in the Eastern Foothills of Helan Mountain in Ningxia.

Walkaround Tasting
Ningxia wine is the most famous in China and widely recognized by the wine industry both at home and abroad. For the first time, this Walkaround Tasting event at Wynn brings together 17 renowned wineries and a selection of more than 50 top wines from Ningxia. Participants will have an opportunity to taste the very best of Ningxia wines which are celebrated around the world.

The Prestigious Perfection of Ningxia – Gala Dinner
Certified China Master Chef Yun Peng Yu will collaborate with Wing Lei Palace Executive Chef Tam Kwok Fung to present "The Prestigious Perfection of Ningxia" Gala Dinner, where they will showcase the unique culinary characteristics of Ningxia and the authentic flavors of Canton. Guests will have the opportunity to savor six masterful creations from the two renowned chefs, and each dish will be thoughtfully paired with a top Ningxia wine such as the Kanaan's limited edition special reserve – Kanaan Crazy Fang, Silver Heights Bloom Sparkling Rice Wine, as well as Wynn's exclusive "Jia Bei Lan Baby Feet Pinot Noir" from Helan Qingxue winery.
