Asia's 50 Best Restaurants Awards 2018 Marks a Successful Finish at Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace Cotai
Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace will return as host for Asia's 50 Best Restaurants Awards 2019

Macau, March 28th, 2018 – Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace Cotai were the official venue partners for a series of Asia's 50 Best Restaurants Awards 2018 events, taking place earlier this week at both venues. The events served as a first-class culinary platform for industry professionals to exchange insights, bringing together over 600 of Asia's most acclaimed chefs, influential figures in the catering industry, and international media in the world class City of Gastronomy, delivering an innovative impetus to the development of the food and beverage sector in Macau.

The #50BestTalks Forum of the Asia's 50 Best Restaurants Awards was held at Wynn Macau on March 26th. A group of Asia's catering industry professionals and chefs exchanged ideas on the personal journeys of a chef and on new catering trends under the theme of "Exploring Identity", while sampling a "Theatrical farm to table" vacationette presented by Wynn Macau. A team of chefs collected the freshest and most unique seasonal ingredients from around the world to cook a feast, including European wild mushrooms, Australian organic farm eggs, fresh French vegetables, premium French Bordier cheese and dried Japanese Tajima Wagyu, which enabled guests to experience the concept of Macau's diverse cuisine and using fresh ingredients. After the forum, Wynn's catering team hosted Chef Feast at the historic Clube Militar de Macau, where numerous renowned local chefs including Chef Raymond Vong, Chef David Wong and Chef Anthony Francis Sousa Tam collaborated to showcase the city's deep-rooted cultural heritage and dynamic restaurant scene under the theme of Macau's Portuguese cuisine history.

The highly-anticipated Asia's 50 Best Restaurants Awards ceremony was then held yesterday at Wynn Palace, revealing Asia's 50 most influential restaurants. After the award ceremony, a cocktail reception was hosted by the hotel's swimming pool, overlooking the magnificent Performance Lake and gardens. Chef teams from Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace displayed Wynn's international premium dining experience to the guests, with favorites including the seafood tower with 16 types of fresh seafood from around the world, the giant dessert bar with its concept of a sumptuous jewelry box, and authentic sushi dishes created on the spot by Wynn Palace's master sushi chefs Tomohiro Okazaki and Hideki Fujikawa from Mizumi at Wynn Macau. Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace will return as the host for "Asia's 50 Best Restaurants" in 2019, welcoming back the event with its signature prestige dining experiences and distinguished service.
