Guided by the "Sustainability Principles" and the comprehensive suite of environmental policies at Wynn, sustainability has become an indispensable metric that guides the development of every aspect of the company's business. This year's report reveals how Wynn continues to improve its environmental practices, leads the way in fostering a culture of sustainability within the hospitality industry, supports the Macao SAR Government's ongoing "1+4" adequate diversification development strategy, and collaborates closely with local Macao SMEs.

Supporting the Macao SAR Government's "Long-term Decarbonization Strategy"

Wynn is committed to supporting the Macao SAR Government's "Long-term Decarbonization Strategy" by exploring new opportunities for integrating sustainable practices into its business and promoting sustainable tourism. For example, Wynn was the first integrated resort in Macao to partner with a local SME to recycle its used playing cards, which greatly reduces environmental impact and promotes a circular economy. As a result of its efforts, Wynn recycled nearly 100% of its playing cards in 2024.

Championing Environmental Stewardship

By integrating decarbonization strategies into its daily operations, the company's total greenhouse gas emissions decreased by 36.7%, as compared to 2019. In 2024, Wynn's non-hazardous waste diversion increased by 136.9% and procurement spend on sustainable seafood increased by 41.6%, as compared to the previous year.

Collaborating with Local Macao SMEs

In 2024, 85.5% of Wynn's total procurements came from local Macao suppliers. With the launch of SME support programs, which commenced in 2023, Wynn has found ways to assist SMEs in fully optimizing their productivity, raising their professional standards, and empowering them to expand their businesses, which, in turn, has contributed towards the growth and diversification of Macao's economy.

Empowering Employees

Wynn is committed to providing employees with targeted and diverse training opportunities to support their professional development and growth. In 2024, Wynn team members completed nearly 400,000 training hours, encompassing a total of 4,700 courses through both classroom and online training offerings. Also, in recognition of Wynn's best-in-class learning and advancement programs, Wynn was the sole recipient in Macao to receive the "Investment in People" accolade from the Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards 2024 and awarded the Association for Talent Development (ATD) 2024 Global Champion Award, further underscoring Wynn's dedication to nurturing employee growth and leadership potential.

Fortifying Vibrant Communities

Through the initiatives led by the "Wynn Care Foundation", Wynn team members actively engage in community service. In 2024, Wynn team members dedicated 10,278 hours of volunteer services, and 2,845 volunteers participated in a variety of activities to benefit the community.
