Helping SMEs boost brand competitiveness and expand client base at exhibitions

Macao, October 17, 2024 ─ Wynn has always been committed to promoting the sustainable development of local SMEs and helping them explore new development opportunities. This year, Wynn is pleased to continue supporting SMEs at the 29th Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (29th MIF) hosted by the Macao SAR Government Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute. As an event business partner, Wynn will hold the "2024 Wynn Local SME Procurement Partnership Meeting" at the Wynn Exhibition Area (O37) at MIF from October 16 to 19. Approximately 100 local SME representatives have registered to attend. Wynn and the Macau Live Streaming Association will also jointly launch and host a "Wynn SME Live Streaming E-commerce Event" with local e-commerce platforms to help companies make the best use of the MIF convention and exhibition platform to showcase the advantages of their products and boost brand competitiveness.

Official dignitaries attending the opening ceremony for the "2024 Wynn Local SME Procurement Partnership Meeting" and "Wynn SME Live Streaming E-commerce Event" at the Wynn Exhibition Area today (October 16) included: Mr. Sun Yaohua, Director of the Economic Affairs Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao SAR; Mr. Larry Leong, Director of Board of Directors of Macao Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute; Mr. Antonio Leung, Department Head of Economic Activities Development Department for the Economic and Technological Development Bureau; Ms. Victoria Kuan, Director-General of the Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Centre; Mr. Fong Son Kin, Chairman of The Board of Directors of Industrial Association of Macau; Mr. Chan Long Seng, Standing Committee Member, Board of Directors and Chief of Recreation Department of Macao Chamber of Commerce; Mr. Chan Weng Tat, Deputy Chief Executive of Bank of China (Macau) Limited; Mr. Andy Ng, Assistant General Manager of Da Heng Qin (Macao) Corporation Limited and Director of Macao Young Entrepreneur Incubation Centre; Mr. Ray Ng, Executive Chairman of The Industry and Commerce Association of Macau; Ms. Caccy Choi, President of Macau Live Streaming Association; Ms. Linda Chen, President and Vice Chairman of Wynn Macau, Limited; and Mr. Craig Fullalove, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer of Wynn Macau, Limited.

Wynn has always prioritized local procurement and is committed to supporting, nurturing, and ensuring the development of local SMEs. This year, Wynn purposely decided to move the "2024 Wynn Local SME Procurement Partnership Meeting" to MIF and hold the event for four consecutive days at the Wynn Exhibition Area. Wynn team will hold face-to-face meetings with local suppliers to explain the procurement procedures and standards of Wynn, while also jointly exploring potential opportunities for collaboration. Wynn is also partnering with Macau Live's local e-commerce platform "Aomi" to conduct its first live broadcast at Rua da Felicidade during the opening ceremony. In addition to introducing businesses into the Rua da Felicidade district, they will also interact with participants at the MIF Wynn Exhibition Area in real-time through corporate live broadcasts. In addition, Aomi will offer group buying and takeaway discounts from Rua da Felicidade businesses on the platform, attracting more than 100 local SMEs to participate, jointly promoting the food and retail products of local businesses, and continuing to encourage residents to boost consumption in the district. A second live streaming will take place at MIF on the morning of October 18, and visits will be made to participating Macao businesses as well as other companies.

Wynn and the Macau Live Streaming Association will also organize SME e-commerce training workshops at the exhibition area to introduce the e-commerce platform and live streaming marketing strategies to SMEs and MIF participants. Ms. Leong Ka Lai, Secretary-General of the Macau Live Streaming Association will share information about new media, explain the various advantages, operating techniques, and creative methods of each platform, and jointly explore exciting possibilities brought about by new media. MIF also invited Mr. Lei Iu Vai, General Manager of Sales Channel Management at CTM, to discuss developing online customer sources, helping businesses explore and embrace online economic opportunities, and promote the transformation of businesses in efficient ways.

The Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF) was founded in 1996 and is the first local exhibition to be certified by The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI). Wynn hopes to use this annual, influential global economic trade event to build a platform for SMEs to jointly explore more opportunities for collaboration and achieve a mutually beneficial competitive edge.
